Beam Patterns

Understanding where different beam patterns focus the light is the first step in creating the optimum lighting configuration for your vehicle. Visibility Beams

Scene & Be Seen - Designed to illuminate the immediate area around your vehicle & provide significant visibility to other vehicles on the road. Featured in our DRL, B6 Brake, and Backup Visibility Pods. 

Flood Beams

Low Speed, High Visibility - Flood beams concentrate the light up close and out to the sides. When mounted down low they can also be used to maximize visibility to other vehicles. 

Hybrid Beams

All Around Driving - Hybrid beams give you the best of both; a wide close-range flood and a piercing spot beam in one housing. If you're only running one set of lights a hybrid beam is the best option. 

Spot Beams

High Speed, Maximum Distance - Spot beams generate the greatest beam distance by  focusing all the LEDs power straight ahead. They are ideal for high speed visibility in dark driving conditions.

Flood Beam Patterns

The vertical fluting on our flood lenses creates an elliptical flood beam pattern that concentrates the light out to sides and directly out in front of you. Flood lenses are included in the DM, and D2 light kits.

Hybrid Beam Patterns

Our D4 and DR1 lights come with a molded hybrid lens and a spot lens option. The DM and D2 lights come with a spot and flood lens option so to produce the hybrid beam you simply run one of each lens.

Spot Beam Patterns

All of our 2.0 lights come with spot lenses so you can generate the maximum beam distance possible. As we increase the size of the optic we can better focus the light to achieve greater distances.

Visibility Beams

Our DRLs, B6 Brake Lights and flush mount backup lights all feature the same low profile body and lens. This unique lens was specifically designed to concentrate the light at the source making them incredibly bright to look at. In addition to increasing day time visibility the resulting diffused beam pattern is also ideal for illuminating the immediate area around your vehicle.

DOT High Low Beams

Our M5 and M7 headlights feature a DOT compliant high and low beam which guarantees maximum light output while maintaining DOT regulations. Our M4 passing lamp modules feature a DOT compliant low beam.
