Lighting the Way: Denali Electronics Powers Up Twin Royal Enfield Himalayan Builds
Temmuz 25 2025

When motorcycle-enthusiast brothers Gordon and Kenyon rolled into HogLights with twin Royal Enfield Himalayans, the mission was clear: upgrade both bikes with premium lighting and control systems. Denali Electronics was proud to supply the auxiliary lighting and smart control that brought this dynamic build to life.
Out with the Old, In with the Powerful
The transformation began with replacing the stock headlights. HogLights handled the headlight upgrade, installing their high-performance 7" 80W LED HogLight units. These plug-and-play headlights delivered a powerful beam upgrade for all-weather visibility, setting the stage for the more advanced systems to come.

Precision Control with Denali DialDim™
Next, it was time to bring real intelligence into the mix. Each Himalayan was outfitted with the DialDim Lighting Controller, a centerpiece of the build. This advanced controller offers independent control and dimming for two sets of auxiliary lights, providing flexibility that standard systems can’t match.
More than just a dimmer, the DialDim also includes a multi-color LED halo switch that doubles as a real-time battery monitor, automatically disabling lights to protect the battery if voltage drops. With this level of control and protection, Gordon and Kenyon can ride confidently, knowing their system is working with them—not against them.

Denali Auxiliary Lighting: Seeing and Being Seen
For primary and secondary lighting, Denali D3 and DM lights were installed. The D3s, mounted using Denali Articulating Bar Clamps (21mm-29mm) on the crash bars, offer unmatched versatility with a mix of spot and combo lenses—ideal for both tight trails and open roads.
For added safety and performance in poor weather, Denali DM auxiliary lights were fitted with amber flood lenses using larger 50mm-60mm bar clamps mounted to the fork tubes. These fog-cutting lights are perfect for riding through dust, fog, or heavy rain, dramatically improving visibility in conditions where stock lighting falls short.

Signal Intelligence with Denali T3 and B6
With the main lighting installed, the factory indicators were replaced with Denali T3 Switchback LED Turn Signals. Up front, T3 M8s provide both running light and turn signal functionality, greatly improving visibility. T3 Signal Pods were added to the handguards for extra signaling clarity.
At the rear, the T3 M8s were configured to function as running, brake, and turn lights—all in one compact unit. To maximize visibility from behind, we also installed a Denali B6 LED Brake Light Kit with a license plate mount, ensuring a clear, eye-catching warning for following traffic.

Letting the Horn Do the Talking
Visibility is only half the equation when it comes to safety—audibility matters too. To round out the upgrades, each bike received a Denali SoundBomb Split Dual-Tone Air Horn. The compressor was tucked discreetly under the tank, while the horn was mounted in the stock location, creating a clean look without sacrificing performance. At 120 decibels, the SoundBomb cuts through traffic noise with ease, giving riders a commanding presence even when they’re not seen.

A Fully Transformed Experience
From start to finish, this build showcases the power of a properly integrated lighting and control system. With Denali Electronics' industry-leading lighting, signaling, and control tech, Gordon and Kenyon’s Royal Enfield's are now safer, smarter, and ready to take on any terrain or weather conditions.
We want to thank Hoglight for including us in this awesome build. It always fun to collaborate with other brands and builders to get creative and see what we can come up with. For the full blog breakdown from Hoglights check out the link below!
