Customer video review of T3 Switchback M8 LED Turn Signals - Rear

Love the size and brightness, my main reason for buying was to add the brake light function to the rear turn signals as the tail light on the KTM 1290 isn't very large. I bought with the plug & play harness for the bike which worked great other than I didn't realize the M8 versions of these turn signals don't have connectors on them, so not quite as plug & play as I had anticipated. Unsure how durable these will be, or maybe it's a quality issue but one of my turn signals the rubber stalk part is not fully bonded to the steel threaded M8 bolt so that side droops a bit and I had to sneak some glue in there hoping it'll help keep it from breaking. Time will tell if the bouncing from bumps will cause it to break the rest of the way.

Store owner replied: Thank you for the review, Chip. I'm glad they're a bright improvement over your OEM running and brake lights. Apologies that they are sagging. This is a side effect of the design, unfortunately. Should it ever sag too much or break, this is covered under our 5 Year Warranty. Thanks again for your time. Ride safe! -Alex with Denali

These lights are extremely impressive and well worth the money. I wasted $60 and three other sets of cheap lights. Get these!

So far so good...conspicuity is greatly increased as the T3s are much brighter than the stock non LED turn signals. The added bonus is that they are also running lights. Wiring is straight forward and other than some minor retrofitments for the tail tidy on my 900RS, installation was not difficult at all. Pricey to be sure, but well worth it. Highly recommend them

The lights work as intended. 50% intensity running lights, full bright brake lights, and full bright turn signals. Installation is straight forward. Wiring is up to the motorcycle owner. I made a custom plug and play harness for my motorcycle without modifying the stock wiring allowing me to revert to the stock turn signals if I ever need to. The only issue I ran into was that after a ride or two, the right side signal screw base started dislodging from the rubber of the turn signal housing, and began to dangle. I had to use super glue to fix the screw base back onto the rubber, but who know how long that will last.

I purchased these because my tail light was not bright enough and almost got hit, after installing them don’t know how someone wouldn’t see me, they are small but bright, only thing is that they are expensive but worth it!

I replaced the lame stock turn signals on my 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX with the denalis. What a great difference! In place of the very dim blinking I got very bright red running and brake lights and very bright yellow turn signals. Denali is expensive but the quality you get is worth it. I also replaced the extremely lame front turn signals with Denali's white running/yellow turns. Again, very bright, extremely visible. Just what you need.

Lights were awesome and bright but they have failed after about a year and half of use. The wires broke into inside the rubber flex area. No way to repair them.

Store owner replied: Sorry to hear this! We have a 5 Year Warranty and can exchange these for you if you like. You can call us at +1 401-360-2550 or email us at info@denalielectronics.com. -Alex with Denali

Good quality and very bright. Easy to install thanks to the help documentation included with them. They are a little floppy, as other riders have noted. Minor concern, but I do kinda wish I could brace them a little so they don't bounce around so much as I ride.

Store owner replied: Glad you like them Alan! We have definitely heard the complaint about the stalk being "floppy." I'm sorry about that. We have stiffened the rubber stalk in a previous revision, but I will get our engineers to inspect our inventory again. -Alex with Denali

I love their eye catching brightness, especially for their size. And I appreciate the included Posi Tap connectors, which make solderless installation a breeze. Quality and workmanship are top shelf. My only complaint is their decision to use soft rubber stems. I feel it cheapens their look and increases bobbing.

The leads should be longer at least 2 feet long they were not long enough to go where factory wiring goes made more work for me to do the lights themselves are ok

Great lights. They are easy to install and look good on the bike ('23 Husky 701 Supermoto). They are short enough that they get the left signal out of the exhaust blast, so I know I won't have to worry about it melting like the OEM lights. I really like the stubby, rounded look of the lights that are conservative and could pass for really well done OEM lights and don't scream "Bling" in an overly obvious way. The running light/brake light function gives me peace of mind and when viewed from the rear they are actually (much) brighter than my bike's OEM tail light.

Seriously great turn signals! I began scouring Amazon for an LED replacement signal for my Versys 650 and all of the options were cheap, looked flimsy and nearly all of them lacked any real stats on LED performance. The T3s well built, extremely bright, and look extremely durable. The cosmetic appearance of the rear of my bike is greatly improved and the rear of my bike is much more visible.

Installation shortcomings on great lights. The tail is only about 9" and the stripped back part too short for 4 Posi connectors, tricky to strip further back and preserve the shrink-wrap weather protection. There are only two Posi-Taps (puncture existing wire), plus two Posi-Locks (straight through) per light - my install needed 4 Posi-Locks to extend the short tails, plus 4 Posi-Taps to connect. (The T3 signal pods have long tails, 4 Posi-Taps per light.) The flanged nuts are now through-threaded. Lights themselves are awesome of course. worth the small hassle of installation.

Store owner replied: Thanks for your feedback Martin, I will pass it on to our design team.

Great upgrade on stock signals Once set up, these lights work great and I'm very pleased with the added visibility they offer--especially the brake lights but also the DRLs. Electronics also have some nice touches such as a small delay before returning to DRL after a signal indication is cleared. The rubberized stem also seems well designed--rigid enough to be stable while riding but flexible enough that they should hopefully withstand abuse. Not unexpected, the downsides are primarily with setup: - If you're running a newer Honda with LED lights, you likely don't have enough voltage to run these with the stock relay. At least for the CB300R, there is an aftermarket option that finally allowed these to work properly (either only one set rear, or both front/rear). Check ADVrider forums for recommendations. - When I ordered the rear signals, no hardware was included (no nuts, no posi-taps). That took another 10 days to get. - At least for my bike, the stock signal mounts have a non-standard shape, which meant "innovating" a stable mounting hole for the M8 bolt with a series of washers. - The included flanged nuts are not through threaded, meaning you cannot thread them past the top of the nut. Lucky for you if that works for your setup but I needed to buy standard stainless nuts. - The wire leads don't leave much room to play with. It works, but a tight fit. None of these are deal-breakers, I'm glad I was able to find an aftermarket relay that works so I could finally get these running.
