Remarque concernant l’installation sur le bus CAN : Le système de bus CAN de la plupart des motos BMW et KTM ne permet pas de retirer l’avertisseur d’origine. Il est nécessaire de laisser l’avertisseur d’origine connecté afin d’éviter l’apparition de voyants d’erreur sur le tableau de bord.
Remarque concernant les motos BMW : Toutes les motos BMW modernes utilisent un connecteur spécial au niveau de la connexion de l’avertisseur d’origine. Un adaptateur de câblage pour avertisseur DENALI est nécessaire pour une connexion Plug-N-Play sur les motos BMW et peut être acheté ICI.
Remarque concernant les véhicules automobiles : De nombreux véhicules modernes utilisent un connecteur spécial au niveau de la connexion de l’avertisseur d’origine. Si votre véhicule utilise un connecteur spécial, utilisez le connecteur à cosse plate ou les connecteurs Posi-Tap fournis pour effectuer la connexion.
Remarque concernant l’installation : Un relais à 5 broches n’est PAS inclus dans ce kit. Un relais est fourni lors de l’achat d’un avertisseur DENALI SoundBomb Original ou SoundBomb Split.
My go-to Horn on any of my Motorbikes has always been a Denali Sound Bomb; whether it be a Mini, The sound Bomb itself, or a Split-Sound Bomb. I have just Installed a Split Sound Bomb in my 2022 Versys 1000 EN. on 260916. The only challenging part of the install was finding a place for the parts. Once I achieved this, the rest was plain sailing. With the use of the Denali Harness for the Sound bomb, I was able to remove the original Kawasaki horn and connect the Sound Bomb directly onto its terminals. The 5.5' Harness was a perfect size to allow this. I did not have to do any adjustments what so ever to any part of the Denali Kit. Everything I needed was there. Their Sound Bombs are pure CLASS.
The Power Bomb wiring harness is a must have in order to simplify the Power Bomb horn installation. Adding the DialDim light controller amplifies your presence by strobing any driving lights you have mounted.
I�ve been wanting a beefier horn for my Honda Valkyrie motorcycle. My son did his research and gave me the Sound Bomb horn and I purchased the wiring harness to do the install. It was fantastic. The hardest part of the job was finding places to mount compressor and horn. Was that was decided, it was a piece of cake. The horn is loud and is very striking in case I need it. Great experience. The universal wiring harness works as advertised. It is built well and fits perfectly with the Sound Bomb horn. Neat & tidy installation and the horn itself is freaking loud!! Toot it a couple of times and your head will spin!!
Easy to follow instructions. I had to improvise a bit as the OEM horn in my 2013 Tacoma used it�s case to frame contact for ground but my work around works fine.
Used on my Victory xct with Mini Sound Bomb horn. New horn didn't fit easily in the stock location, this harness worked very well to relocate the Mini SB to a new location. Little pricey considering it cost as much as the horn but it was easy to install and a quality product.
Made hooking up my dual tone split air horn a breeze on my 19 KTM Duke 790. Worth the money if you don't want to hack and slash your original wiring harness.
I attempted to get help with this purchase multiple times, but the response was slow. Unfortunately, I was informed I needed the additional 5-pin relay after this purchase. Both were ordered and shipped the same day, yet I was charged for shipping both separately. Products are good, but wasting money was not.
Whether you need a relay or not depends on the motorcycle you're putting it on. The SoundBomb Mini is a plug-n-play replacement for the original horn on most non-BMW motorcycles. On BMW motorcycles, you may need to use the BMW wiring adapter (DNL.WHS.10100).

?Some bikes may throw codes if the original horn is replaced. This is especially common on KTM motorcycles. if you're having that kind of trouble, use the original horn wire as a "trigger wire" for the horn wiring harness DNL.ELC.10000 and add the Soundbomb Mini as an additional horn.
Solid construction; electrical connections were machine crimped, sheathing was both strong and flexible, which helped when routing wiring through motorcycle frame. Extra electrical connectors were included, which were needed when it was necessary to shorten the wiring run from compressor to electrical source.
I used this wiring harness to install a Denali SoundBomb on my 2023 KTM Adventure. In one way it made installation of the horn a breeze. On the other hand installing the harness itself was a nightmare. The section of wiring to the battery was a tad short but the sections of wire to the SoundBomb and the old horn wire connections were way too long. I literally had to stuff the excess wire into any available space that I could find which was difficult with the thick, rigid sheathing on the wiring and makes for a sloppy installation. I'm probably going to go back and shorten these two sections of wiring for a cleaner installation. I understand that this is a universal wiring harness but Denali should rethink the wiring lengths and the type of sheathing on the wiring.
Horn is extremely loud. I live it. Wires and connectors works seamlessly with my D3's. Very please with the products they seem very well made. 5 star!!!
Bought this as a plug and play cable for a Sound Bomb horn mounting to a Pan America. You would think that Denali�s R&D department would know whether it works or not but when the horn didn�t work their customer service people had no idea why. They started guessing and making suggestions that didn�t help until I finally gave up and removed the entire harness and horn. Highly frustrating and a total waste of money. Their final suggestion was to spend another $250 on a canbus adapter to see if that worked. What good is an R&D department for if they don�t install it in advance to test it? The instructions were also vague and misleading. I installed it exactly like they said but nothing worked.
The horn sounds great....I have not used it on the road yet because it fell off the bike before i got out of the backyard....the mounting system on it absolutely SUCKS.....they would have been better putting a protruding stud with a length long enough that you could cut it to the length you would need....I have over 40 years as an automotive and motorcycle mechanic and this is the worst mounting system i have seen on an auto or motorcycle component....sorry guys, but you will have to better than that to get my vote....
